The State grain farm "Berezansky" was founded in 1932 with acreage of 25 000 ha. In 1958, the State farm was reorganized into the experimental seed growing farm (FSUE) "Berezanskoye" of All-Russia Research Institute of Oil Crops.
The land use of farm is a compact land, located in the north-eastern part of the Korenovsk district, total acreage is 17 072 ha.
The industrial specialization of FSUE "Berezanskoye" is seed growing of sunflower, soybean, rapeseed, mustard, and winter wheat.
In fact, the farm is multibranch, it has complex rotation of grain, technical and fodder crops on the 15 000 ha of agricultural lands, it also keeps 1000 heads of cattle stock and up to 1500 heads of pig stock.
The farm has five subdivisions. The engine yards of all subdivisions are equipped with workshops and sheds for machinery. The basis of the productive forces is presented by 450 employees engaged in the different fields of the farm's activity. 105 tractors, 16 combines, and 60 cars make it possible to harvest yield in time.
The best released hybrids and varieties of oil crops are grown here.
There is Russia and a number of foreign countries on the consumer map of foundation sunflower seeds from the farmers of Berezanskoye.
In addition to collaboration with VNIIMK, farm works in close rapport with Krasnodar Research Institute of Agriculture by P.P. Lukyanenko (KHIISH).
For years farm has been growing seeds of the high reproductions of winter cereal crops, more than 20 varieties are being cultivated.
